The designer

Hello, I'm Rachael

Scarlet Yarn is the luxury homewares brand I run from my studio in Glasgow. Growing up between the Middle East and Scotland gave me two very different, equally beautiful landscapes, and a love of the wildlife in them.

I draw every design by hand, then choose the materials to bring it to life: colours that sing and images that pop. I believe homewares are an investment in the happiness of your home.
